PTFE Fiberglass Fabric with standard formulation and percentage of PTFE-fiberglass coating content, provides a cost-effective product for use in a variety of industries, maintaining good heat transfer, release property & flexibility.
PTFE Fabric is made of imported glass fiber as raw material,consist of a woven fiberglass and are coated with a PTFE resin.
PTFE Fabric combines the excellent release, and heat resistance of PTFE with the strength and dimensionally stability of fiberglass, making it ideal for a variety of harsh industrial applications.
They are very high temperature resistant, have superior electrical properties, have an outstanding release surfaces and excellent chemical resistance.
PTFE coated fabric is dimensionally stable at temperatures from -100° to 500°F (-73° to 260°C), non-toxic, odorless, tasteless, FDA (21 CFR 177.1550) compliant, and can be used in food processing and packaging.
Another prominent feature of PTFE coated fabrics is that the coefficient of friction is extremely low (the test result under ASTM-G-154 is 0.05-0.15), the weather resistance is 1000 hrs, and no change in tensile PTFE itself has excellent oleophobic and hydrophobic properties. Making PTFE coated fiberglass very suitable for use in the field of food processing, including but not limited to conveyor belts, non-stick pans, etc.
The PTFE coating also helps prevent liquid contamination of the base fabric and can be used to manufacture bespoke sleeves and connectors for harsh chemical environments.
